Keystone Law’s virtual pub, The Keystone Arms, had a festive transformation last night for a Christmas celebration whilst continuing to support its chosen charity, Action for Children.

Keystone’s 400+ lawyers came together remotely at a Winter Wonderland experience that was designed by the firm and applied to the virtual networking platform Remo. Lawyers and staff were able to catch up with colleagues in a range of areas including the ice rink, on the Ferris wheel, around the Christmas tree, in snowball fight zone and sledging hill. And no party would be complete without a dancefloor in front of the DJ booth.

To keep the festive feel alive and build excitement for the night, a Christmas hamper full of delicacies accompanied invitations to the event.

The firm’s Christmas party is also a time when they support Action for Children by donating hundreds of presents which are brought by everyone at the firm to the event. This year Action for Children have had to move to virtual fundraising to help vulnerable children and their families via their Secret Santa appeal. Keystone’s lawyers and staff were delighted to support the campaign, raising over £7,000 with the firm donating a further 50p for every £1 raised, taking the donation to over £10,000, which could provide more than 1,000 presents to children in need.

James Knight, CEO and Founder of Keystone Law, said:

“When it became evident that we were not able to get together for our annual Christmas party, a virtual celebration was the only option and after the success of the Keystone Arms we knew the concept would be embraced and enjoyed by all in the firm.

Whilst this Christmas will be very different for everyone, no child should think Santa has forgotten them so to be able to continue supporting the wonderful team at Action for Children and raise over £10,000 for them is a fantastic way to end the year.”

Lily Haig, Community Fundraiser Action for Children, said:

“On behalf of the children, young people, families and staff at Action for Children I would like to say a big thank you to Keystone Law for all your donations to Action for Children’s Secret Santa Campaign. By becoming Secret Santas you have been able to provide support to ensure that children that would otherwise be without, have access to a hot meal, warm clothes, a present and a safe place to sleep this Christmas time. Donations such as yours enable the charity to grow and continue to ensure that children have a safe and happy childhood and the foundations they need to thrive.”
