LOST City Adventure Golf has completed a further £100,000 spend to expand its offering at Cityside Retail and Leisure Park in Belfast.

The investment includes the addition of a new function/party room, extension of the catering facilities to include a full restaurant alcohol licence, cocktail bar and stone-baked pizza oven, and the introduction of new interactive features such as a 10ft-tall talking tree, and an animated python and alligator.

The expansion reflects growing consumer demand for the innovative jungle-themed leisure attraction which surpassed its initial visitor target by almost 30 per cent.

Currently employing 11 full and part-staff, the £1.4m venue opened in December 2017.

Belfast was the second UK-based location for the adventure golf business, building on the success of its flagship venture in Nottingham, which opened in 2013. A third site is set to open in Hull in 2020.

Owner Lane Scott views the expansion of the Belfast facility as a natural progression.

He said: “This most recent investment is both exciting and timely, enabling us to live up to our commitment to provide unrivalled customer service and truly memorable experience for all our visitors.

“The new function/party room, which can host an additional 50 people, has been themed and furnished to the highest standards. This combined with our licenced catering facilities means we can appeal to both the private party and corporate markets.

“As the leisure industry flourishes, we continue to lead the way with our industry knowledge and experience. The additional offerings, features and spaces can cement our position as the go-to destination in Belfast and progress our ambition to become the number one leisure attraction in Northern Ireland.”
