We’re back!
The IR Global Practice Management Committee is alive and well, and on the job to provide what we hope are some useful strategies for our fellow members. It is the one area that seems to resonate with all, and in the present Covid 19 circumstances, may be the most important area we deal with all year.
Ross Nicolls brought us together for our first meeting in a while, and it was great to see my good friend and committee stalwart, Ramanand Munkur from Bangalore, and also welcome our new member Hannah Budd in the UK to the team. Our other participants are Grahame Brown from Beijing, and another new member, Mark Copeland from New Zealand. Ross Nicolls chaired our meeting and also dished out the homework to the group.
We concurred that the times are not easy, but there are lots of rays of sunshine too, and the opportunity to really step up on the leadership front, when people are counting on us all to show strong direction and purpose in taking definitive steps forward. This is Practice Management on steroids time, and I hope you are all embracing it with a “can do” mentality, and a willingness to morph and adapt to the demands of change. Not easy, always uncomfortable, but surprisingly rewarding when achieved.
Greetings to all from Sydney Australia. Julia Koffel
