LEONARD L. ROSENBERG is a senior member and shareholder of Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., resident in the Miami office. Len is also licensed to practice before various Federal Courts, including the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also a member of the Firm’s Operating Committee. Prior to joining the Firm, Len was a senior attorney for Customs at their Headquarters office in Washington, DC. He is well-known for advising importers on how to structure their transactions to minimize duty consequences and penalty liability. Len is perhaps best known for successfully arguing before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit the precedent setting case for the use of first sale valuation under the U.S. customs laws. He has lectured throughout Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States on customs matters.
