The combination of public and private sector experience is one of Bernard’s key strengths in the Project Finance and PPP space. His public sector involvement enables him to bring a collaborative and inclusive approach to engagements while maintaining the level of speed and efficiency that is required by the private sector.
Bernard has advised the Government of Uganda on a variety of government privatisation and PPP projects in areas such as evaluation of project proposals, structuring of project financing, negotiating concession agreements as well as reviewing financial, legal and technical due diligence reports and feasibility studies.
