Let’s Celebrate January 2021…

Stepping into 2021, we all need a little bit of hope, excitement and happiness in our lives and what better way to kick start your New Years by getting out in the great outdoors and walking off some of the festive food and drinks. With obvious health benefits for both you and your dog(s), Walk Your Dog Awareness Month is a great way to help dust off the January blues, get out and about, meet other dog walkers and improve your own and your dog’s wellbeing.

Moving further, after the Christmas shopping and present opening deadlines and the New Year celebrations, we all deserve a celebration in our “Sleep Land”. The festival of sleep day was created by people that would like to get some “shut-eye” and relaxation after the holidays. With most of the offices, schools and colleges reopening on the 4th January 2021, it’s time to observe this wacky holiday on 3rd January (and thankfully it’s a Sunday!)

In addition, did you know the President of the United States annually declares 16th January to be National Religious Freedom Day. The goal of this observance is to protect and promote religious expression rights. Freedom of religion is considered to be a fundamental human right and everyone has the right to manifest belief or religion, change religion or not to follow any religion.

With the year 2020 has been, we all need and deserve some cuddles, and so we have Winnie The Pooh Day 2021 on 18th January 2021! This day is known to be one of the cuddliest holidays around the world. It is celebrated on the birthday of author A. A. Milne. It’s one special anniversary fans just can’t bear to miss! So, don’t miss a chance to celebrate this day with hugs and cuddles, teddy bears’ picnics and honey on your menu.

Lastly, it’s Australia Day on the 26th of January. It is a day to celebrate the past, present and future of the country. You can find Australia Day events happening around you and celebrate everything they Aussies love about living in Australia and about being an Australian.
