Mr. Aponte-Parsi has been practicing law for more than 30 years. In 2001, he started practicing through a professional services corporation called Jaime Aponte-Parsi Law Offices, P.S.C., organized under the laws of Puerto Rico, with the assistance of his partner, Laura E. Blizzard. The offices are located in the heart of the financial district of Hato Rey.
Mr. Aponte-Parsi has also served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of corporations such as Cervezas del Sur, Inc.
The Company is a a professional services corporation called Jaime Aponte-Parsi Law Offices, P.S.C., organized under the laws of Puerto Rico. The partners are Jaime Aponte-Parsi and Laura E. Blizzard. The law firm negotiates tax exemption and incentives packages from the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico for manufacturers and export businesses, as well as commercial contracts and transactions, distribution agreements, resolution of disputes with distributors, real estate and financial transactions and estate settlements. The firm also represents clients in licensing matters with the Drugs and Pharmacies Division of the Puerto Rico Department of Health, and has handled real estate transactions such as condominium conversions, leases, and sales, and general corporate matters.
