Magnetic Data Storage Tapes. The International Trade Commission has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1076 of magnetic data storage tapes and cartridges containing the same with respect to one patent based on the withdrawal of allegations regarding all of the asserted claims of that patent by complainants FUJIFILM Corporation and FUJIFILM Recording Media U.S.A. Inc.
Subsea Telecom Systems. The ITC has amended patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1098 of subsea telecommunications systems and components thereof to reflect the withdrawal of the complaint with respect to three respondents.
Electric Motors. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1073 of thermoplastic encapsulated electric motors, components thereof, and products and vehicles containing same with respect to one patent asserted by complainant Intellectual Ventures II LLC against certain respondents.
Clidinium Bromide. The ITC has instituted investigation 337-TA-1109 to determine whether imports of clidinium bromide and products containing same are violating Section 337 of the 1930 Tariff Act by reason of false or misleading advertising concerning their Food and Drug approval status. The products at issue are capsules containing 2.5 mg of clidinium bromide and 5 mg of chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride as active ingredients.
Complainants Valeant Pharmaceuticals North America LLC and Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. request that after this investigation the ITC issue an exclusion order, which would direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to prohibit the entry of infringing products into the U.S., and cease and desist orders, which would require the named respondents to cease actions that violate Section 337, including selling infringing imported articles out of U.S. inventory. The respondents in this investigation are located in the U.S.
