Join Inspire, in collaboration with Ellis Jones, for our next webinar and Q&A, focusing on After furlough – what happens next?

With over 8.4m furloughed workers in the UK currently having 80% of their salary (up to £2,500 per month) paid by the government’s Job Retention Scheme, the Office for Budget Responsibility expects that the government’s response to the pandemic will cost over £120bn.

Earlier this month the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, announced that the scheme has been extended until at least October, but that employers will be asked to start sharing the cost from August.

Taking place on Thursday 4 June at 11am, via Zoom, we will provide a detailed overview of the Job Retention Scheme and what the options are for employers, when the government’s support starts to decrease from August.

Inspire Founder, Warren Munson and Director, Chris Downing, will be joined by Kate Brooks, Partner and Head of Employment at Ellis Jones to provide you with expert advice and answer your furlough questions.

It’s free to attend, but places are limited. To register your interest, email us and we’ll send you an invite with log-in details.
