Hamilton’s TMT | IP team has acted as legal advisor to the Swedish developer of state-of-the-art IT systems for financial marketplaces, Cinnober Financial Technology AB (publ), in connection with the signing of licensing, support and maintenance agreements with NYSE Regulation (a subsidiary to New York Stock Exchange. Cinnober’s will provide technology solutions involving market surveillance and enforcement program for exchanges within the NYSE Group.
Hamilton has advised on the drafting and negotiation of all legal documentation concerning the licensing, support and maintenance of the system.
Hamilton has advised Cinnober over the years in its business of development and licensing of marketplace systems to exchanges and marketplaces around the globe since the first agreement was signed in 2001 with the American Stock Exchange and furthermore as legal advisor in connection with a number of M&A transactions, most recently this year in connetion with the acquisition of the TDM provider BOAT from Markit Group.
