Dry Kirkness values its position as leading chartered accountants in Perth, Western Australia. We recently hosted the monthly meeting for the WA State Council of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand(CAANZ). We also had the opportunity for a face to face meeting with CAANZ Tax Leader Michael Croker FCA earlier in the day.
Michael was gracious in spending time with us to answer questions and discuss the current tax and business environment in Australia and the conversations CAANZ are currently having with stakeholders including the Australian Taxation Office on planned changes to tax law. We also took the opportunity to discuss the potential outcomes of the tax policies of our major political parties as Australia is in election mode with a Federal election to choose the government for the next three years on 18 May.
This engagement positions Dry Kirkness as leading practitioners in Western Australia and we welcome discussing with fellow IR Global members with business opportunities in our State.
