Diaz Reus Adds Legal Staff in Miami and Madrid Offices

MIAMI, July 21, 2015 –Diaz Reus & Targ LLP expands its Miami headquarters and Madrid, Spain, legal team with the addition of three attorneys, strengthening its international practice capabilities in business transaction, immigration, litigation, and sports and entertainment. Horacio Rodriguez joins the firm’s Madrid office as a partner, while Florida Bar Board Certified Immigration Specialist Michael A. Harris and litigation associate Benjamin Rosenberg join the firm’s Miami office.

 Horacio Rodriguez, dual-licensed to practice in both Spain and Venezuela, brings over 20 years of experience providing legal advice and service in international commercial matters and business law, including incorporation of foreign companies in Spain and advice on international holdings. Fluent in Spanish and English, with an intermediate knowledge of German, he is recognized for his ability to facilitate international strategies practically and efficiently. He holds degrees in law from the Universidad de Malaga, Spain, and Universidad Central de Venezuela, Venezuela, magna cum laude.

 Michael A. Harris, a Florida Bar Board Certified Immigration Specialist, has a distinguished reputation in the field of Immigration and Nationality Law, representing multinational companies, executives, investors, and professionals, as well as acclaimed artists and athletes, academics, and families. His federal immigration law practice is focused on the complexities of a variety of business immigration visas, EB-5 investment immigration matters, family immigration matters, consular processing problems, and admission and removal cases for detained and non-detained clients. He has represented U.S. developers with capital stacks valued at over $1 billion in their efforts to raise foreign funds through the EB-5 Regional Center Program. He earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Miami, and a B.A. in Political Science and English from the University of Florida, Gainesville.

Benjamin Rosenberg is an associate attorney in the firm’s business litigation and sports and entertainment practices where he focuses on domestic and international matters. He holds a B.B.A. in Business Administration from Florida International University and a J.D. from Florida International University College of Law, Miami, Florida. He completed study abroad at Tianjin University of Commerce, Tianjin, China, and also served as an intern to the Honorable Cecilia Altonaga, United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.
