Gabriel Di Blasi is industrial engineer, industrial property agent and lawyer. His practice covers domestic and international Intellectual Property Law, including Patents, Designs, Trade Secrets, Regulatory, Protection of Plant Varieties, Technology Licensing, Trademarks, Copyrights and Police Making.
Mr. Di Blasi’s experience includes the prosecution of administrative cases before the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO), Ministry of Agriculture and National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), as well as litigation involving data exclusivity, patent, design, trade secret and copyright and enforcement through the Customs Organization. He handles matters related to the international protection of patents, counseling on technology management, appearances before the government agencies responsible for Brazilian biodiversity, among others.
He is member of the Biotech Committee (COMBIO) of the São Paulo Industries Federation (FIESP) related to IP and regulatory issues and member of Design Committee (CT2) of FICPI. Also he is Professor of postgraduate courses at Universidade do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) in Intellectual Property subject with emphasis on Patents Law and he is Patent Technical Expert at the Brazilian Courts.
