ABC Trust
Action for Brazil’s Children Trust (ABC Trust) is a registered charity in Brazil and the UK, dedicated to helping street children and the most vulnerable young people of Brazil. Everything we do is in partnership with local grassroots projects in Brazil’s largest cities.
ABC Trust’s aim is to help structure and grow these organisations, enabling them to reach out to thousands more young people. ABC Trust looks for front-line projects that provide holistic support to the most vulnerable children, working both on their personal development and on strengthening the capacity of families and communities.
ABC Trust’s work is both preventative: supporting projects that stop children from reaching the streets, providing child care facilities and educational opportunities, and responsive: getting children off the street and offering support, health care and legal advice.
As well as protecting young people, ABC Trust believes in offering them a voice, a chance to develop self-confidence and take control of their futures through campaigning and self-expression in arts and sport.
