CLIENT ALERT: Gov. Cuomo suspends commencement, filing or serving of legal actions

Dear Clients,

Pursuant you an Executive Order issued on March 21, Governor Cuomo has suspended and tolled any specific time limit for the commencement, filing of or service of any legal action. This includes but is not limited to time limits in the Criminal Procedure Law, the Family Court Act, the Civil Practice Law, the Court of Claims Act, the Surrogates Court Procedure Act and the Uniform Courts Act.

In addition, the March 21 Executive Order stays all residential and commercial evictions for a period of 90 days.
