O’Brien was instrumental owner in growing, leading, transitioning and integrating post-merger. Applying his hands-on management experience O’Brien led a successful turnaround growth strategy for 3rd generation Chicago industrial distribution company. O’Brien has been engaged with dozens of businesses in management consulting, project management, M&A growth and divesture transactions. Currently O’Brien is an owner and managing director of Chicago M&A Advisors, Inc. assisting owners with M&A transactions that achieve owner goals by engineering the highest value sustainable deals.
