– Cameroon-Canada Relationship: The new Canadian diplomat to Cameroon announced a shift of his country’s priority in Cameroon from development issues to economic partnership.
– Entrepreneurship: Launch of the integrated capacity-building entrepreneurial program (Empretec) in Cameroon
– Standards and quality: Cameroon recently acquired 952 new norms. This norms are on aspects such as architecture and building construction, electricity and electrotechnicals, Agri-business, petroleum products, technology, standardization, documentation, general and fundamental norms.
– Cocoa and coffee sectors: Members of the public-private partnership platform (PPPP) were installed.
– Limbe Deep Sea Port: According to the Board of support of partnerships (CARPA) contracts, the construction of the multi-function terminal of the future deep Sea port in Limbe, will soon start.
– Agriculture: The national cotton company SODECOTON will soon launch a series of public consultations requesting for opinions on whether or not to introduce transgenic cotton in the farming.
– Mining: A local Mining Corporation (Socem), incorporated to operate the gold and diamonds deposits discovered at Meyomessala.
– Electricity: The Cameroon electricity supply corporation (ENEO) will raise16 billion FCFA from local banks to boost its performance.
– Mining: Cameroon is looking for investors for the exploitation of rutile in Akonolinga. This is the object of the launching of an International call for expressions of interest for a pre-selection of companies or groups to be awarded a mining title on a rutile block in the Republic of Cameroon

– Limbe Seaport: According to the Korean Partner, Limbe Port and Industrial Development Corp, the wharf of the Limbe Deep Seaport will go operational in six months.
– Energy: Execution of a commercial agreement between the Minister of Energy and Water resources and the company Hydrochina International for the development of the Song Dong hydroelectric Dam project.
-Leather Exploitation: Publication of a call for expressions of interest for the recruitment of a consultant to analyze the leather sector in Cameroon.
