BVDM Tax & Legal Services was founded in 2000 by Bauke van der Meer (1969).
Having worked with Big Four tax advisors in Moscow and Amsterdam, he felt the need for a niche firm which would serve clients active on the axis Russia-Netherlands. Our Moscow office was opened in 2001.
Today the firm employs 15 people. Although our backgrounds could not be more different, we find great satisfaction in functioning as one team. After all, It is our ambition to know everything about theory and practice of companies and individuals working in Russia and abroad.
Our core activities include registration of Russian legal entities, representative offices and branches, applying for work permits and work visa. A hands on approach to implementation is important, but equally so is doing the right things.
Russia is a relatively young jurisdiction where not all things are what they seem (free after Marshall Zhukov) and from time to time anomalies occur.
