Business succession: GvW Graf von Westphalen advises on the sale of GSE Vertrieb Biologische Nahrungsergänzungs- und Heilmittel GmbH to Finexx
GSE Vertrieb Biologische Nahrungsergänzungs- und Heilmittel GmbH (“GSE Vertrieb”) is setting itself up for the future. The holding company Finexx GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungen has acquired the shares from the founder of the company Michael Gracher under a succession concept. Michael Gracher, who established GSE Vertrieb together with his wife in 1994, is withdrawing step-by-step from the company for reasons of age. Anja Binger and André Schön, who have already been the managing directors and co-shareholders for many years, will remain the managing directors and continue to have a participation in the company.
With the support of the investor, GSE Vertrieb will continue to advance its growth strategy and further expand product development, distribution, the online business and internationalization. GSE Vertrieb has its headquarters in Saarbrücken and specializes in distributing biological food supplements and exports its products today to 25 countries. GSE Vertrieb deals exclusively in food supplements produced from raw materials from plants with bio-quality.
Finexx GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungen focuses as a consulting company on established mid-size companies in Germany. The main emphasis of the Stuttgart company includes financing for growth investments and acquisition financing as well as being involved in changes in the composition of shareholders and succession planning.
GvW advised the shareholders and managing directors of GSE Vertrieb in the sale under the leadership of Titus Walek (M&A, corporate law) consisting of Christof Kleinmann, Dr. Philipp Wiesenecker (both employment law), Thomas Schroiff (real estate, all in Frankfurt a.M.) and Arnd Böken (IT, data protection, Berlin).
