Luxembourg law firm Bonn Steichen & Partners (BSP) has continued the growth of its Corporate M&A practice with the addition Laurie-Anne Takerkart as new Counsel.

A corporate lawyer with an extensive background in a wide variety of transactions involving technology and other industries, Laurie-Anne Takerkart advises multinational companies and private equity firms on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate finance transactions. Moreover, she has extensive experience in non-contentious intellectual property work with a focus on technology and brand transfer and other contracts relating to IP. Her work to date has involved transactions for a diverse range of clients ranging from multinational oil and gas and chemical companies to ship management companies, asset management companies and successful entrepreneurs.

In addition, Ms. Takerkart is an author and frequent speaker on start-ups and Fintech matters, which she is heavily invested in, developing particular expertise in counselling startups and entrepreneurs in forming, financing, and managing their company from launch to maturity.

Laurie-Anne Takerkart has a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in Business Law and also holds a Postgraduate diploma (DESS) in Multimedia and Information Technology Law both from the University of Strasbourg. Besides her ten years’ experience at the Luxembourg Bar, working in leading business law firms, Laurie-Anne acquired significant and valuable expertise from the private sector during a secondment to a leading European real estate investment manager, acting as legal director.
