Bluetrace provides connected stadium of FC AZ

Connectivity expert Bluetrace and the Dutch professional football club AZ have entered into a five year contract for the provision of fast and reliable wireless internet for the AZ stadium. The stadium will get 200 WiFi access points.

Amsterdam, 10 November 2016. Bluetrace and AZ have reached an agreement for Bluetrace to install 200 wireless access point in and around the AFAS Stadium of AZ. A visit to a football game in AZ’s home city of Alkmaar should get an extra dimension as a result of the seamless wireless connectivity to the internet.

Bluetrace will also develop the new AZ app which will be a 24/7 portal to news updates, videos, ticket sales, social media and many other functions. The AZ app will also enable supporters to elect the ‘Man of the Match’ during a live game.
