BG2V ADVISES O’TACOS, THE FRENCH TACOS LEADER, FOR AN INVESTMENT BY THE FUND KHARIS CAPITAL
BG2V assisted O’Tacos, a fast food restaurant chain, the leader of French tacos, for the investment by the Belgian investment fund Kharis Capital, specialized in the restaurant sector, and notably known for holding the Burger King master franchise in Italy, Poland, Belgium and Luxembourg, and the around one hundred Quick restaurants located in Belgium and Luxembourg.
This investment allows Kharis Capital to take a majority stake in the company’s capital next to the founders, who will remain involved and will manage O’Tacos’ development in the coming years.
Kharis Capital’s taking of a stake in O’Tacos’ capital constitutes a major step in its development. Kharis Capital and the founders of O’Tacos share three ambitions for the company. Firstly, the ambition of continuing to increase the number of points of sale in France to offer its original, high-quality and affordable product. Secondly, with more than 100 franchisees and 2,000 active employees in the O’Tacos network, continuing to support entrepreneurship and job creation in France. Lastly, accelerating the international development of a brand name that will now also become a European brand name.
