Mr. Joni Aries Bangun was born on January 13 in Manado, North Sulawesi, Republic of Indonesia, and graduated from the School of Law, University of Indonesia (Bachelor of Laws) in 1989, and gained Master of Management in Finance in 2002 and Master of Law in Business Law in 2009.
He started his legal career in 1989 as associates by joining a boutique law firm and moved to several law firms in Indonesia, where he became equity and naming partner. During his time in these firms he directly involved and gained experiences in various legal services, for which services he was the main and responsible lawyer and partner in handling them. In 2004, he established Bangun & Partners, a general corporate and commercial law firm in Indonesia, which provides legal services to his domestic and overseas clients.
During his career as legal consultant or Advocates, he is involving and practicing law in the area of General Corporate & Commercial, Banking & Finance, Capital Market, Dissolution & Liquidation, Labor & Employment, Plantation & Forestry, Mining, Merger & Acquisition, Insurance, Foreign Investment, Commercial Litigation, Arbitration & Bankruptcy, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), etc.
