Astrea Spring Update IT

Steven De SchrijverPartner, Astrea

I hope you are finishing a successful first quarter of the year, both private and business wise.

For Astrea, 2019 has gone off to a good start. Each year I am amazed to see how fast time flies. In the blink of an eye, the first quarter of the year is already almost behind us. The end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019 has been extremely busy and with the spring sunshine so early in the year, everything seems to go even faster.

Nevertheless, I have tried again to honour my promise to you in these busy times to provide you in this biannual update with a few interesting articles and publications I have contributed to in the past months. Once again these publications cover discussions and insights with respect to the IT landscape in Belgium, which I believe are worth reading for you.

I would also like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all my peers for once more recognizing me as “Global Elite Thought Leader (EU)” in 4 categories of the Who’s Who Legal research: “IT”, “Data Privacy & Protection”, “Data Security” and “Telecoms & Media”.

I hope that we can find an opportunity for cooperation in the near future and look forward to seeing you again soon. In the meantime, when you have an opportunity to come to Brussels or Antwerp, you are always cordially invited for lunch, dinner or one or more of our Belgian beers.

Best wishes,

Steven De Schrijver
