On dates March 15 to March 17, 2015, the International Seminar “Intellectual Property in Agriculture”, organized by the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property – ASIPI – will take place at the Sheraton Hotel in Asuncion.
The Seminar will be attended by well-known national and foreign speakers, experts in the Intellectual Property field. Some of the topics to be addressed are the following: “Protection from Competition in the food processing industry”, by Professor Gustavo Schötz from the Austral University (Argentina) and Abog. Juan G. Moure (Colombia); “Designations of Origin and Geographical Indications: The Ka’a He’e Case (Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni)”, by Abog. Jorge Chavarro (Colombia) and Ing. Gustavo Rodriguez from REDIEX (Paraguay); “The Importance of the Test Data in the Agrochemical Industry”, by Norma Susana Felix (Argentina) y Cristobal González Riquelme (Paraguay), among other topics.
