AD/CV: Steel Flanges, Mechanical Tubing, PET Resin

Stainless Steel Flanges. The International Trade Administration has issued a countervailing duty order on stainless steel flanges from China, effective June 5. The ITA will direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess CV duties on all unliquidated entries of subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Jan. 23, 2018, at the rate of 174.73 percent.

Mechanical Tubing. The International Trade Commission has made final affirmative antidumping injury determinations on cold-drawn mechanical tubing from China, Germany, India, Italy, Korea, and Switzerland. As a result, the ITA will issue AD duty orders on these products.

PET Resin. The ITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD injury investigations of polyethylene terephthalate resin from Brazil, Indonesia, Korea, Pakistan, and Taiwan. A hearing will be held Sept. 13, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Sept. 7, pre-hearing briefs are due by Sept. 6, post-hearing briefs are due by Sept. 20, and final comments are due by Oct. 15.
