Rajani Raj Acharya is partner of SDR Associates, Chartered Accountants.

He holds Chartered Accountancy Degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN). He also holds postgraduate in Accountancy from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He is a Member of Nepal Financial Reporting Standard (NFRS) sub-committee of The Association of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ACAN).

Rajani Raj has over 10 years of experience in audits, accounting, and financial & management Consultancy. Rajani Raj has a core expertise in accounting, business advisory services, including implementation of Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS). He has also worked as a team leader in various tax investigation on behalf of Inland Revenue Department of Nepal. He has worked as an engagement partner in audit and assurance services to different local bodies of Government of Nepal, together with appointed by The Auditor General of Nepal for audit of government owned enterprises. Rajani Raj provides training on accounting and NFRS, and also works as a team leader in NFRS implementation clients of the firm.

Apart from involvement in the firm, Rajani Raj has worked for more than 3 years as a chairman of a national level NGO of Nepal- National Research & Development Center, Nepal (NRDC-Nepal). He holds the position of Director of Saral Sewa Pvt. Ltd.
