Aleš Eppinger graduated from the Faculty of Law at Palacký University in Olomouc in 2001.
After graduating from the Faculty of Law, Aleš initially worked for JUDr. Jan Veselý PhD. as a trainee distrainer at the Distrainers' Office in Prague 1, where in addition to ensuring the performance of the routine work of the distrainers' office, he directly participated in the preparation of legislation in the field of judicial execution.
Since 2002 Aleš has been involved in advocacy. From 2003 to 2008, Aleš worked for the leading international law firm Weinhold Legal, v.o.s., firstly as junior lawyer and later as senior lawyer, specializing in the provision of legal services to German clients. During his time at Weinhold Legal, v.o.s., Aleš attended a series of specialized seminars/workshops (e.g. Corporate M&A II Law School in Warsaw etc.).
Aleš Eppinger is primarily focused in rendering legal services in area of business law, in particular in mergers and acquisitions, furthermore in civil law, property law, insolvency law and judicial and arbitration proceedings.
During his professional career, Aleš has been involved in many international transactions, including important cross-border acquisitions by multinationals, the complex restructuring of important holdings and also in international arbitration. Furthermore, Aleš provided important banks, engineering and energy companies with legal services in particular in business law matters.
Aleš is also involved in lecturing activities. He currently focuses especially on issues related to the status of entrepreneurs and on new legal opportunities with respect to the recodification of the private law effective from 2014.
He is a partner of the Schaffer & Partner group from 2008. Aleš Eppinger has been registered at the Czech Bar Association since 2005.
Aleš speaks fluent Czech, German and English.
