Keystone advises Wild Nutrition on £5 million private equity investment
Keystone Law has advised client Wild Nutrition, and its co-founders, in connection with a £5 million investment by Piper, the UK’s leading specialist investor in consumer brands.
Founded in 2013 by Henrietta and Charlie Norton, Wild Nutrition is an online natural health supplements brand that has disrupted the UK’s £20bn health and wellness market. The company’s core Food-Grown® approach to formulation is a unique way of delivering efficacy while remaining completely natural, sustainable and ethical. In addition to its own online offering, Wild Nutrition’s products are sold in premium high-street retailers such as Selfridges, Harrods, Wholefoods, and Planet Organic.
The Keystone team was led by corporate lawyer Simon Holden, who has a longstanding relationship with Wild Nutrition.
Charlie Norton, Director and Co-Founder of Wild Nutrition, commented:
“As always, Simon provided his meticulous discerning approach in supporting Wild Nutrition through this recent investment process with Piper. He has been an invaluable partner since Wild’s inception. I would not have had anyone else to help us navigate this latest round. Simon is a truly rare breed. He is technically exceptional across the legal and corporate landscape, whilst at times providing a much-needed level of humour to keep everyone engaged during a lengthy process! Eternally grateful for Simon’s sound counsel and unwavering resolve.”
Simon added:
“Whilst I always enjoy assisting clients in meeting their objectives, completing this particular transaction resonated deeply with me. I have had the distinct pride and privilege of having worked with the Wild team, particularly Charlie and Henrietta, since the early days of their business. Witnessing first-hand their hard work in taking Wild from a start-up, navigating several funding rounds and now culminating with this investment is simply so rewarding. I couldn’t be happier for the whole team and wish them every success in this next exciting chapter of their story.”
