Two new appointments at Inspire
Strong start to 2021 for award-winning business advisors
South Coast business and tax advisory firm, Inspire, has welcomed two new members of the team so far this year, further strengthening its advisory and client services teams.
The new appointments to the team are Jon Huggins who joins as Advisory Manager, and Jacob Cardus who joins as Client Services Adviser. Jon and Jacob will be part of the 30-strong team based at Inspire’s offices on Commercial Road in Poole.
Jon re-joins the Inspire team, after three years living and working in Canada. Having studied at Bournemouth and Poole College and worked locally in finance and accounting roles, Jon originally began his career with Inspire in 2013. He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2016 and specialised in corporate finance and advisory services with the firm, before leaving for Canada.
Jacob began his accountancy career five years ago in Southampton where he completed his AAT qualifications as an Audit Trainee. Having always lived in Dorset, Jacob decided to continue his studies and work closer to home; he began his qualifications as a Chartered Accountant locally and will now continue his studies, supported by the Inspire team.

Jon commented: “It’s great to be back at Inspire, I feel very fortunate to have spent the last three years working in Canada, but having made the decision to the return to the UK, the opportunity to re-join the team was one I couldn’t resist!
“I’ve really enjoyed my first few weeks back in the team and am looking forward to getting back working with local business owners on their Inspire journey.”
