Vladimir Putin announces additional support measures for business & citizens
On May 11, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced the termination of non-working days in Russia and introduced new measures supporting business and population. It will include a range of subsidies and deductions, such as:
- Wiring off most of tax-payments for the companies operating in the affected industries
- State loans for the employers, which remained at least 90% of the staff
- Additional credit programs with up to 2% interest rate in order to sustain employment
