The current partial shutdown of the federal government brings substantial uncertainty for importers and exporters. Parts of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and other government agencies responsible for facilitating and enforcing trade are shut down or working with limited staff. This situation is affecting import and export transactions and traders’ ability to plan for the rest of 2019. This webinar will provide the latest information on the impact of the shutdown on cross-border commerce as well as answers to questions on the status of CBP and PGAs.
