Inspire Entrepreneurs’ Dinner raises over £25k!
We are pleased to announce that the recent launch of our Entrepreneurs’ Dinner raised over £25,000 for Dorset charity, Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.
Attended by over 140 business people from across Dorset, and with Manager of AFC Bournemouth, Eddie Howe, as guest of honour, the exclusive dinner was held at the award-winning Italian Villa on the 17th October.
Guests were treated to a drinks reception and four-course dinner, and Inspire’s Chairman, Mike Bevis, took to the stage to interview Eddie, who inspired guests with the highs and lows of his fascinating career. The evening culminated in a live charity auction hosted by CEO of Julia’s House, Martin Edwards, and Inspire’s Managing Director, Warren Munson, which raised over £25,000 for Julia’s House.
Martin Edwards said: “We are amazed by the amount raised from the evening with Eddie Howe. It was a very special opportunity to learn from Eddie’s insights into management and leadership. The guests were so generous on the night and as a result we are able to provide more care to children with life-shortening conditions, and support for their families. Thanks so much to Eddie, to Inspire and to everyone who contributed to such a great evening.”
Warren Munson, Managing Director of Inspire, added: “I’m really proud we were able to bring the business community together to support this event and raise such a significant amount for Julia’s House. The evening was a great success and our special guest, Eddie, provided a fascinating insight into his own journey, as well as his thoughts on leadership and developing people, which our guests found very useful. A fantastic night!”
Alongside Inspire’s ever-growing line-up of annual events, the Entrepreneurs’ Dinner was yet another opportunity for great minds to share ideas and success stories whilst supporting one of Dorset’s most cherished children’s charities.
