Video Transcription: Hi I’m Aaron Schechter, I’m a Tax Partner here at Crowe Soberman and I’ve been in tax for over 20 years.

What are 3 things people don’t know about you? The first one is that in my mid-20s, I worked on a ski hill in New Zealand and I worked in the cafeteria there. I flipped hamburgers and made french fries and all my days off I would snowboard. The second thing is that I have a hot pink suit that I wear at least once a year when I travel to Las Vegas. The third thing is on my bucket list is to try to go to as many of the top restaurants in the world as possible.

What can clients expect you to deliver? Clients come to me because they usually have a tax problem or issue that they need resolved, but more often than not they come to me looking for somebody who can minimize their taxes and maximize their capital. It’s my job as a tax professional to break down these tax complexities into smaller digestible parts that clients can understand. The second thing that clients can expect me to deliver is passion. I’m passionate towards tax and as I get to know my clients on a deeper level I become passionate towards their affairs.
