VERTESS Welcomes New Managing Director

Joshua Boynton Joins VERTESS M+A Advisory Firm

Tucson, Arizona, September 19, 2017 – Healthcare M+A advisory firm VERTESS continues its strategic growth with the addition of Joshua Boynton, a national healthcare entrepreneur and innovator, as a Managing Director.

Joshua founded LifeShare, a pioneer in the intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) marketplace, in 1996 and built it into a national, multi-million-dollar organization that he sold to Centene in 2013. As an executive at Centene, one of the largest national MCOs in the US, he led an effort to diversify LifeShare and expand the I/DD footprint of Centene. He was also recognized as one of the 25 leaders to watch in the next 25 years by Business NH Magazine in 2009 and has received numerous other awards and appointments. As a Managing Director at VERTESS, Joshua will focus in the I/DD, behavioral healthcare and child welfare verticals, in addition to his consulting and advisory work in managed healthcare.

“I am very excited to join the VERTESS team and hope my background as an entrepreneur and executive will help us to expand our services, including the Eastern US,” Joshua remarked. “This position allows me to pursue my passion for innovative services that are customer-centric, while participating in exciting transactions in the healthcare sector. There are many new opportunities in the new world of managed healthcare and I foresee strong growth for VERTESS headed into 2018 and beyond.”

Tom Schramski, VERTESS Managing Partner, said, “Josh is an incredible addition to VERTESS and he will be leading our effort as we become a ‘center of excellence’ in the disabilities marketplace. He is a great combination of entrepreneurial thinking with an understanding of the day-to-day reality of healthcare providers that will make him very successful in consulting and M+A transactions.’
