The Energy Secretariat (SENER) published on its 041 Press Release that in conjunction with the National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH), it plans to increase substantially the number of areas offered in future oil tenders, which will increase national production of Oil and gas, as well as reserves for the future. Additionally, the above helps consolidating Mexico as one of the most attractive investment destinations in the world in the field of hydrocarbons, said the Energy Secretary, Mr. Pedro Joaquín Coldwell.
At the inauguration of the 2017 National Oil Convention of the Mexican Hydrocarbons Association (AMEXHI), Pedro Joaquín Coldwell said that in this government administration there will be three more tenders: the 2.4 in deep water and in non-conventional land areas. Then, the Round Three will begin, including a two tenders: one tender for shallow waters and non-conventional land areas and the other for deep water and non-conventional land areas.
