Historical Museum: Anne Frank Huis

In the middle of Amsterdam, between all the canals, you will find the former house of Anne Frank (“Anne Frank Huis”), a Jewish girl who had to hide from the Nazis during World War II. Together with seven others, she was hiding in the ‘secret annexe’ at the rear of Prinsengracht 263 where she also wrote her famous diary. This important historical building is definitely worth a visit, but be aware of the possibility of long queues to go inside. For the official website go to http://www.annefrank.org/nl/

Unique dinner location

If you are looking for a unique location to enjoy pure quality food in a relaxing environment, The Harbour Club is your place. This 2200m2 restaurant is located in an old wineterminal which turned fashionable chic and contains a six metre long showcase full of fish. For an impression of the restaurant and the menu go to http://theharbourclub.com/amsterdam/.

Just as the previous ones, this last update will also end with a question which is both related to Amsterdam as to IR Global this time (which you will understand once you have found the right answer to the question): do you know which profession the major of Amsterdam used to practice?

See you all very soon and on behalf Wolfs Advocaten: welcome to The Netherlands!

With kind regards,
