Merchant & Gould listed as IP Powerhouse in BTI Consulting national report

In the BTI IP Outlook 2015: Changes, Trends and Opportunities in IP & IP Litigation report, Merchant & Gould received top rankings in three categories of the IP and IP Litigation Powerhouses section: “IP VIPs,” “Most-Favored IP Boutiques,” and “Most-Favored IP Departments.”

 

IP VIPs
As part of its IP and IP Litigation Powerhouses ranking analysis, BTI Consulting asks IP decision makers to identify firms that stand out in all areas of IP. Only a select group of 12 firms were outstanding in complex IP litigation, complex patent work, routine litigation, and routine patent work. Merchant & Gould is honored to be included in this “IP VIPs: Outstanding in all aspects of IP” list.

Most-Favored IP Boutiques
When asked to name their favorite IP boutiques, corporate legal counsel cast their vote on Merchant & Gould as one of only 5 “Standouts” out of a pool of 61 boutique IP firms.

Most-Favored IP Departments
Legal decision makers at corporations across 15 industry segments named Merchant & Gould as a firm with a “Most-Favored IP Department” in the BTI report.

Top 5% in IP Litigation
In a separate study for 2016, Merchant & Gould was ranked in the top 5% of IP litigation law firms in the BTI Litigation Outlook 2016: Changes, Trends and Opportunities for Law Firms report. In this analysis, corporate counsel from Fortune 1000 companies ranked Merchant & Gould in the top 5% of all law firms for intellectual property litigation. Read full press release.
