MAGNUSSON NAMES NEW MANAGING PARTNER IN POLAND

Agnieszka Pytlas-Skwierczyńska was appointed the Managing Partner Warsaw. At the same time, her predecessor Andrzej Tokaj becomes Senior Partner Warsaw. Following this move, more than 50% of Magnusson’s entire team will be managed by female managing partners.

Agnieszka Pytlas-Skwierczyńska is a Polish attorney-at-law (adwokat). She has been part of the team in Warsaw since 2002 and became a partner in January 2008. She is a member of Magnusson’s firm-wide Management Committee and for the past few years she has already been involved in management of the Warsaw office, mainly in the HR area.

Andrzej Tokaj, as the Senior Partner Warsaw, will continue to focus on client work. Additionally, the function includes responsibilities within the sphere of partners relations, acting in Magnusson International (where he is the Chairman of the Board), involvement in business development and the Warsaw office strategic planning.
“At Magnusson, we are gender-blind. There is no glass ceiling and our principle is to select the best person for the job. Agnieszka is the best person to be at the helm in Warsaw and I am delighted that she will manage our team in Poland”, commented Andrzej Tokaj, Senior Partner Warsaw.
“With Andrzej as the managing partner, the Warsaw office has been continuously thriving. I would like thank my colleagues for their trust and will do my best to both continue and be inspired from successful management practices introduced by Andrzej”, said Agnieszka Pytlas-Skwierczyńska, Managing Partner Warsaw.

After the nomination of Agnieszka Pytlas-Skwierczyńska, more than 50% of the Magnusson team in terms of headcount is managed by female managing partners. This also means that two largest offices (Stockholm and Warsaw) and two largest operations (Poland and Sweden) are managed by female partners.

In addition to Agnieszka being responsible for the firm’s office in Poland, Charlotte Bus is the managing partner of Magnusson in Sweden (Gothenburg, Malmö, and Stockholm), while Ligita Ramanauskaitė heads up the Lithuanian operations (Vilnius and Kaunas) and oversees Magnusson’s practice in the Baltic states.
