Donna-Marie is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial department. Whilst Donna-Marie is proficient in various areas of law, her practice in the firm is focused mainly in the corporate and commercial area. She delivers advice to her clients on a wide range of subjects including, corporate issues, securities, shipping, mergers and acquisitions, energy and energy related matters and general commercial matters.
Donna-Marie has worked in large commercial, quasi government and private sector entities for most of her professional life and clearly understands what matters most to her corporate clients, and ensures that their needs are met in a professional and timely manner. Donna-Marie also is in charge of the firm’s large estate planning practice, which includes the preparation of wills and trusts and general administration of estates.
Donna-Marie has co-authored a number of articles in leading international publications in the areas of Securitisation, Lending and Secured Finance and gas regulation.
Donna-Marie sits as a director on the board of the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange.
J.D.Sellier+Co. was founded by Jean-Baptiste Denis Selliér who was admitted to practice as a Solicitor and Conveyancer in Trinidad and Tobago in 1882. He practiced on his own until 1916 when he invited his colleague and friend George Cecil Pantin to join him in a partnership.
