Diaz Reus is also involved in the Argentina-holdout conflict, albeit on the other side. It represents hundreds of investors suing the Republic of Argentina for failing to make millions of dollars in payments owed under its sovereign debt issuings.
Diaz Reus also represented Mexico’s state oil producer Pemex, Latin America’s second largest company, in prosecuting a multi-million dollar civil RICO action against Siemens A.G. and SK Engineering, a South Korean firm. The firm also has an ongoing representation of numerous agencies and instrumentalities of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in related litigation matters in the United States.
