In late April 2014, CNP partners Lisa Theng, Bill Jamieson and See Tow Soo Ling attended the Interlaw Asia Pacific meeting 2014 in Shanghai hosted by Zhonglun W&D. The theme of the conference was “An Interlaw 5-year Plan: Business Expansion in Asia Pacific”. The event had a turnout of close to 50 delegates from the Americas, Europe and Australasia, as well as Asia.

The meeting over 3 days provided a platform for the members of Interlaw to network and learn more about business opportunities involving China and to continue the work of Interlaw Special Business Teams, which collaborate in providing cross-border capability to clients in specific areas of work such as Arbitration and Energy.

Interlaw is a highly connected network of over 70 independent law firms located in 170 cities worldwide. It has been ranked as the Leading Law Firm Network, Elite Band 1, in Chambers Global Law Firm Network 2014.
