Guilherme Santos is the head of the Corporate and Capital Markets group in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at Gasparini, De Cresci e Nogueira de Lima Advogados.
His practice comprises mainly mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity investments and eventual assistance to private placements, restricted securities offerings (such as debentures, promissory notes, bonds and certificates of real estate receivables – CRI) and funds formation (such as private equity funds – FIPs).
Prior to joining Gasparini, De Cresci e Nogueira de Lima Advogados in February 2013, Guilherme Santos was a member of another major Brazilian law firm – Machado, Meyer, Sendacz & Opice Advogados, and an international associate of a well known European law firm – SJ Berwin LLP, in London. Mr. Santos is fluent in English and Spanish in addition to Portuguese.
