SKILLED MIGRANT CATEGORY POOL SELECTION
There have been three reported draws from the Skilled Migrant Category (SMC) Pool since our last newsletter. For both the pool draws that took place on 30 October and 27 November Expressions of Interest (EOI) claiming a minimum of 140 points were selected and invited to apply for New Zealand residence. In addition, all applications claiming a minimum of 100 points – it also included a points claim for holding a current or offer of skilled employment were selected, together with EOI that were able to claim a minimum of 135 points it also included a claim for 15 bonus points for holding work experience in an area of absolute skills shortage. For the draw that took place on 14 November, only EOI that were able to claim a minimum of 140 points or a minimum of 100 points it also included a points claim for holding a current offer of skilled employment were selected from the pool.
