Last year, Warren was part of a team which cycled from Poole to Paris
for charity. This year the boys are determined to up the ante with an
even greater challenge; cycling 390 miles from Paris to Bordeaux in four days.
In the Inspire offices we’ve all heard the tales of the team getting lost
(several times), last year, so we’re actually fully expecting them to cycle
considerably further than this as they struggle to locate their inner
compasses.
Warren will be undertaking this journey in support of our local
Macmillan Cancer Unit in Christchurch. This fantastic organisation
provides priceless support to those whose lives are irrevocably affected by
cancer, and is a cause very close to his heart.
Macmillan Caring Locally have been working in our community since 1974,
and their aims are to support those who are suffering from cancer and to
provide help for their whole family. In addition, they work with services
which provide early diagnosis with a view to providing early treatment and
hopefully recovery.
In the office, everyone is wishing the whole team the very best of luck,
and can’t wait to hear this year’s tales about who was to blame for all the
wrong turns…
