IR Members Liuming International, China, and mdp, Australia, present breakfast seminar entitled: “Positioning for success in China: Creating valuable intellectual property assets”

mdp and fellow IR member Liuming International, Beijing, recently presented a special breakfast
seminar to clients in Melbourne entitled:

“Positioning for success in China: Creating valuable intellectual property assets”.

mdp Senior Associate Alana Long was joined by Wei Xin and Graham Brown (founders of Liuming
International) to deliver an exclusive insight into what it takes to ‘get it right’ in China (a region that is
often viewed with scepticism by Australian IP owners), including:

 IP protection, enforcement and commercialisation in the region; and

 key tips and traps for doing business in China and attributing value to Chinese IP assets.

The relationship between mdp and Liuming International is a perfect testimony to the benefits of the
IR network and the benefits of members working together to provide better value and services to their
clients.

Due to the success of this event, the two firms plan to present further seminars together in the future.
