The Roundtable which is scheduled to hold at the Sheraton Hotel, 30 Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at 9.00 a.m. is targeted at Legal Practitioners, Compliance Officers, Human Resource Practitioners, Company Secretaries, In-House and External Counsel and all other stakeholders who are directly or indirectly involved with and impacted by the implementation of the Nigerian Immigration Act.

The Roundtable which will have resource persons from the Nigerian Immigration Service, the Federal Ministry of Interior as well as experienced Expatriate HR and Tax Practitioners will afford participants the opportunity to engage with regulators as well as afford the regulators an opportunity to get feedback from the stakeholders impacted by their activities.

Topics to be discussed at the Roundtable are as follows:

 

  •   Compliance Requirements under the 2015 Immigration Act – Matters Arising;
  •   The Implementation of the Local Content Policy under the new Immigration Act; and
  •   A Review of Expatriate Taxation in Nigeria.
