Join Inspire, in collaboration with Ellis Jones, for our next interactive webinar and Q&A, focusing once again on After furlough – what happens next?

Last week’s After furlough webinar was in high demand, so we’ll be running another on Thursday 18 June at 11am, via Zoom.  We’ll have a detailed overview of the latest updates from the government, including options for flexible and part-time furlough and the detail announced on 12 June.

More than a quarter of the UK workforce is now on furlough, having 80% of their salary (up to £2,500 per month) paid by the government’s Job Retention Scheme.  Last month the Chancellor extended the scheme until the end of October, but confirmed that employers will have to start contributing towards the costs from August.

Many businesses are now considering what will happen when the government support begins to decrease, with questions around not being able to return to pre-Covid trading and having to consider reduced hours, team pay cuts or redundancies.

With further details expected to be announced the Chancellor at the end of this week, our expert panel including Inspire Founder, Warren Munson and Director, Chris Downing, alongside Kate Brooks, Partner and Head of Employment at Ellis Jones will be providing timely advice and answering your furlough questions.

It’s free to attend, but places are limited. To register your interest, email us and we’ll send you an invite with log-in details.
