Introducing our next webinar: Self-Employment Income Support Scheme
The government’s Coronavirus support for self-employed individuals was announced at the end of March with the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme – but the Chancellor said at the time that payments wouldn’t be available until June.
Earlier this week, HMRC confirmed that the service to process eligible claims will open next Wednesday (13 May), with the first payments expected by 25 May – ahead of schedule and offering welcome news for many who have seen their incomes decline or even disappear over recent weeks.
Join the Inspire team for the next webinar in our programme, taking place on Monday (11 May) at 11am, via Zoom, focusing on the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS).
The scheme is for people whose income is majority derived from being self-employed individuals/partners of partnerships and LLPs, but not company director/shareholders.
Inspire Director, Chris Downing, will offer you a summary of the scheme, including details of the eligibility criteria and application process, alongside what to expect from the HMRC claims service.
We will then run a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask questions on all aspects of government support available for your business.
It’s free to attend, but places are limited. To register your interest, email us and we’ll send you an invite with log-in details.
