Dr. Hannes Wiesflecker established SmartLaw in 2012. Previously he worked for Fiebinger Polak Leon & Partner and Law Offices Dr. Schwank in Vienna and as a legal advisor for Consumer Association and European Consumer Centre.
Attorney Dr. Wiesflecker has a profound understanding of business issues. After completing his law degree and attaining his doctorate, Dr. Wiesflecker worked as a consultant helping start-ups with project management and web strategies. He lectured on these topics for more than 10 years at the following institutions:
- Berufsförderungsinstitut (bfi) Tyrol
- Wirtschaftsförderungsinstitut (WIFI) Tyrol
- Arbeiterkammer Tyrol
- Department for strategic management, marketing and tourism, University of Innsbruck
Legal engagements and experience:

- Graduation as a lawyer in Innsbruck
- Extensive years of engagement with renowned international commercial law firms in Vienna, particularly in the areas of corporate and commercial law, white collar crime, civil and arbitration cases

- Studies at the Business and Management School of Lund University, Sweden
- International Legal English Certificate at the University of Cambridge, UK
